That’s why we are incredibly selective in building our teams and why we invest so much into our development programs. These programs are a unique opportunity for new team members to learn our business and the Hajoca model for success. Our business model allows for all the autonomy at the local level, it falls apart if we don’t have the very best leaders and teammates in place, therefore our hiring process is very thorough. Trust us… it’s good for both of us to get it right.

You can expect:

Initial interview
Assessments with possible phone interview with company psychologist
Team/Leadership Interview(s)
Reference and background check, drug screen

The purpose of these steps is to ensure we hire candidates who will fit well within our culture and come to work every day ready to drive the success of Hajoca.

Sales and Operations Development Program

The Sales and Operations Development Program is for recent college graduates who are looking to pursue a long-term career in a customer facing role or an operations role. During the program, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a structured timeline that will allow us to understand and see your skill set and long-term career goals. We will allow you the freedom to live into your dreams by matching your passion, skill set, and long-term goals with the needs of the business.

The program consists of 2 phases:

  • Warehouse and Counter (9 months): You’ll gain a great foundation of the team and business in this phase. Time will be spent understanding, performing, and mastering the logistics of getting materials in and out of the business. In addition, you’ll start your customer interaction as you assist customers that come into the business each day to buy their material.
  • Account Management (9 months): You will serve as a primary contact for existing customers, providing solutions to their problems and bringing value to them and their business.

Once these 2 phases are complete, you’ll determine which part of the business you’d like to focus on, the customer or the operations. You and your Profit Center Manager will determine what additional training you’ll need to be successful in the area you choose and create a plan and timeline. In this program, you are hired on by an individual team and spend your career with that team.
